As a company, we have always been dedicated to supporting those who have less. That is why, in 2013, we created our own social project: “Giving is your best move”, a program through which we collect the clothes that our customers donate to us and give them to various organizations.
This year, in August, we took our solidarity mission to Bowen, a rural town located 860 kilometers from Buenos Aires, to celebrate Children’s Day in a very special way.
During this emotional day, we visited eight schools and two dining halls in Bowen and La Escandinava (El Tanquecito neighborhood), delivering more than 50 boxes of clothes, 16 boxes of school supplies and books, 10 boxes of kitchen items, 6 blackboards, more than 50 school benches and chairs, 3 computers, 3 televisions, 2 libraries/bookshelves, 2 dining tables with chairs and tablecloths, non-perishable food, 1 bicycle, 1 desk, 1 bed and more than 200 toys. In total, we transported almost 30 cubic meters of donations that brought joy and hope to the community.
Our solidarity mission in Bowen was yet another testament to our strong conviction to make a real difference in the lives of those in need.
On behalf of the entire Lift Van team, we would like to express our sincere thanks to those who joined this noble cause, contributing with donations, effort and time.
The “Giving is your best move” project is an inspiring example of how a company can be an agent of positive change in the community and build a brighter future for all. We look forward to our next charitable mission and the impact it will generate.
See you soon to continue helping!
